However, it makes a LOT, so you may not want to try it if your kids won't eat it.

I do lentils with tomatoes and basil. We have it about once a month in the winter. I get hungry for it whenever I'm teaching about Jacob and Esau! :)ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15293058709021665140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6394593369099711178.post-67525956492121087722009-03-09T12:40:00.000-04:002009-03-09T12:40:00.000-04:00This is a nice tribute to you by your daughter. Is...This is a nice tribute to you by your daughter. Isn't it wounderful for us melancholics to see how positively others can view us and that they can even take our faults lightly while we take ourselves so very seriously?
I don't think I know any woman besides myself who does not like to travel or shop. I guess we are a rather unusual breed.
I would really like to have the recipe for the chicken and rice dish you make. My kids don't like chicken or rice but sometimes I just have to have it! LOL aabout having it "every week like clockwork". If my kids don't like something they will say (for example)," Lentil stew again! We have that every week!" We actually have it twice a year but with the economy the way it is I may have to ramp that up to "every week".
Thanks for sharing this note with your readers.Hope T.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07861626818618433758noreply@blogger.com
